Support for Participants:

Support for participants is available upon request in justified cases. These aids that will be provided only when a genuine need is demonstrated, being the beneficiaries decided case-by-case at discretion of the organizing comittee.

 

Eligibility requirements:

Applicants for financial assistance to help defray costs of attending to the second ENBI Workshop must be EU citizens or candidate countries. Priority will be given to:

ENBI members:

  • Active participation in the third ENBI e-conference.
  • ENBI wp partners related to the workshop topics.

No ENBI members:

  • Active participation in the third ENBI e-conference.
  • Professional experience that demonstrates extensive scientific or technical expertise in the workshop topics.
  • Members of European GBIF participant nodes.
 

What can ENBI Forums funds pay for?:

The funds can be used to assist with expenses incurred attending the workshop. The funds can only be used to pay for:

  • travel expenses to and from the workshop
  • hotel expenses at the workshop
 

To apply for ENBI Forums funds, participants must submit the following:

  1. A text of around 200 words explaining reasons and interests for participating in the workshop
  2. A filled application form including a budget.

Please submit your requests before 20 April to allow time for processing the application. Applications will be evaluated by the ENBI Forums team. Please send the completed application (form plus text) to enbiforums@ma-rjb.csic.es.

Personal invitations:

If you require a letter with a personal invitation to the workshop, please contact enbiforums@ma-rjb.csic.es. This letter does not represent a commitment on the part of organizing commitee to provide financial support.
