The European Network for Biodiversity
Information (ENBI) invites you to assist to the Second ENBI
Forums workshop, which will be held in Palma de Mallorca,
from 10th to 12th May 2005.

The main objective fo the European Network
for Biodiversity Information (ENBI) is to manage an open network
composed by the relevant biodiversity information centres
in Europe and other countries of the Western Palaeartic region.
One of the principal goals of ENBI is to inform both institutional
staff including new generations of scientists, and policy
makers, making available information and expertise about data
contents and data management technologies, as well as best-practice
procedures. In this context, ENBI organizes an annual electronic
conference, as well as an associated workshop. The topic for
this Second ENBI Forums Workshop will be derived from the
issues raised during the Third
ENBI e-conference: Improving European participation in GBIF
(14th to 28th February 2005).
