In these pages ENBI brings together experts and end-users in specific fields of interest. Here, you will find information about general meetings, workshops and e-conferences. These events aim to promote discussion and exchange of opinions, criteria and knowledge on common concern issues, as well as to provide an insight on the state of activities in Europe.
ENBI forums, through CIRCA "Interest Groups", provides other ENBI work packages and ENBI Community at large with a communication space, and consolidates the outcomes of this communication as an information resource open to everybody.
As a part of ENBI WP 3 and WP 12 contribution to ENBI Forums, here you can also find the ENBI Glossary. There, you will find definitions and short explanations (including links) of acronyms, abbreviations and terms used in the field of Biodiversity (Organisations, Working groups and committees, Museums and Institutions, IT and Biodiversity Informatics).
ENBI forums contributes to the GBIF business plan with respect to “Outreach and Capacity Building” work program, and also to the GBIF Standing Committee of node managers.
