Work package 2. ENBI Forums & Inventory
of state-of-art.
The role of ENBI Forums is to organize general
meetings to discuss and promote the exchange of opinions on
issues of general concern to all ENBI work packages. These
meetings also provide a platform for the national GBIF nodes
and other stakeholders for the discussion of common issues.
Input comes necessarily from all other WPs in ENBI.
To develop a common ENBI Forum space,
it is necessary to provide a frequently updated on-line service
on all existing related activities and initiatives in Europe,
including the co-ordinates with respect to contact persons,
etc., as well as an insight on the state of activities in
Europe. WP 2 is an instrumental package inside of ENBI in
charge of providing such a common space. WP 2 consolidates
the outcomes of the communication and offers this information
as a resource open to everybody.
